About the position
The Nursing Assistant in the H6 Post-Surgical PCU supports the patient care team by performing multifunctional activities such as direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, as well as providing administrative and clerical support. This role is essential in ensuring that patients receive the necessary care and support during their recovery process.
Responsibilities
- Perform direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the patient care team.
- Follow written and oral instructions accurately.
- Perform basic mathematical functions as required.
Requirements
- Proven ability to read and write English.
- Completion of Summa's orientation and certification for the role.
