About the position

The Nursing Assistant position at Genie Healthcare is a temporary, full-time contract role focused on providing essential care in a hospital setting. The position involves working night shifts and floating between various hospitals in the region as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to nursing staff in a hospital setting.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Float between different units and hospitals as required, primarily at St. Joseph Medical Center.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Requirements

• Active CNA license for Washington state.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• At least 2 years of hospital experience, preferably in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
• CPR certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in telemetry units.
• Driver's license.
