About The Position

The Nursing Assistant/HUC in the NICU at Advocate Aurora Health provides essential patient-focused care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED.
• CNA - Nurse Aide in good standing with the State Registry.
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers (must be obtained within 45 days).
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Perform delegated tasks in a patient care setting.
• Support an environment of patient care that treats patients and families holistically.
• Assist with patient lifting and movement, using appropriate equipment when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
