Responsibilities

• Assist RN in patient care.
• Perform specialized procedures as directed.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for all patients.
• Ensure accurate and timely sharing of patient information.
• Communicate effectively, positively, and professionally with patients and staff.
• Provide age-appropriate care per established guidelines.
• Take initiative for personal growth and development.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED in General Studies.
• Successful completion of a North Carolina Board of Nursing Aide I approved training program/competency evaluation.
• Nurse Aide I Registration with the Division of Facility Services Nurse Aide I Registry.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
