About the position

Responsibilities
- Provide direct ADL care under the supervision of a licensed nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs with documentation in the electronic medical record
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents, families, and visitors
- Provide support to residents and families
- Collaborate as a key member of the care team including providers, nurses, therapists, activities, social workers, and chaplains.
Requirements
- State certification as NAC or NAR (NAR's required to obtain NAC within four months of hiring)
- Organizational ability to arrange tasks in an efficient manner and assure completion
- Working knowledge of Nursing Home RCW and WAC regulations
- Knowledge of medical terminology
