About the position

This position involves working closely with physicians and nurses to facilitate advanced primary and specialty nursing services. The role focuses on providing support to patients through various activities, ensuring a positive experience for both patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Supports nursing personnel in providing direct patient care and assists patients with daily activities.
• Serves and collects food trays and provides between-meal nourishment.
• Changes bed linen, runs errands and prepares and sterilizes treatment trays and supplies.
• Transports patients within the facility for consultations, treatments, tests, or examinations.
• Measures and records patients' vital signs such as temperature or pulse and provides basic treatment.
• Ensures a safe care environment for the patients and their families.
• Performs continuous rounds and check-ins throughout the shift to ensure patient and family needs are met.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing or patient care role.
• Ability to assist with daily living activities and provide basic patient care.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in basic life support (BLS) or CPR.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
