The UW Health Nursing Assistant Apprenticeship Program is an accelerated training program designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills and experience to work as Nursing Assistants in a hospital setting. This program is set to begin on December 30, 2024, and will last for three weeks, during which participants will engage in both classroom instruction and clinical practice at University Hospital in Madison, WI. The program is full-time, running Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, allowing participants to gain hands-on experience while learning about the rewarding nature of patient care.
