About the position
Ingleside Communities is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the facility staff and ensure quality patient care. The role involves directing day-to-day operations in compliance with federal, state, and local standards, while fostering a positive environment for residents and staff. The Administrator will be responsible for leadership, supervision, and the overall management of the facility, ensuring that residents receive the necessary care and services.
Responsibilities
- Direct the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current standards governing long-term care facilities.
- Create and maintain a warm and personal atmosphere for residents.
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and supervise all facility departments and operations.
- Assist department directors in developing and using departmental policies and procedures.
- Represent the facility at top-level meetings and contacts with governing boards and agencies.
- Plan and maintain an ongoing quality assurance program to identify and correct deficiencies.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and maintain competent personnel for all departments.
- Review and interpret monthly financial statements and assist in budget preparation.
- Maintain resident confidentiality and ensure compliance with Residents Rights rules.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in good standing.
- At least 18 years of age and completion of secondary education with at least two years of undergraduate studies.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Previous supervisory experience in a hospital or long-term care facility.
