About the position
The Nursing Instructor position at Ross Education Holdings Inc. is a full-time role focused on educating and mentoring nursing students in both classroom and clinical settings. The instructor will be responsible for delivering the curriculum, preparing lesson plans, grading assignments, and promoting student retention. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students in smaller class sizes, ensuring personalized attention and support.
Responsibilities
- Instruct students in the Ross curriculum both in the classroom and at clinical sites.
- Review lesson plans and prepare for class instruction.
- Grade and electronically record assignments.
- Actively promote student retention.
- Support externship activities as applicable.
- Accurately record grades, successful completion of proficiencies, and attendance using campus management software.
Requirements
- Completion of an approved registered nursing education program (BSN or higher).
- Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio.
- Two or more years of experience in nursing providing direct patient care.
- Ability to teach in the classroom and at onsite clinicals.
- Daytime availability.
