About The Position
The main purpose for the Nursing Program Administrator II position is the responsibility for providing consultation and direction in the development, utilization, and implementation of policies and procedures for the evaluation of nursing program curriculum in Maryland schools of nursing. This position develops and implements policies for review and processing of the national registered and practical nurse licensure examination NCLEX-RN and PN applications. This position conducts independent data analysis, evaluating and monitoring of RN and LPN nursing education programs to assure that the programs meet the standards and regulations of the Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON), the National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity (NACIQI) of the US Department of Education (USDOE), and the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC).
