The BSN Program Coordinator position is a full-time position that reports to the Associate Dean of Nursing. The BSN Program Coordinator is responsible for supervising all aspects of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, including the organization, administration, continuous review, planning, compliance, development, implementation, and general effectiveness of the program. Additionally, the BSN Program Coordinator teaches in his/her assigned area, works with faculty to promote continuous improvement of the quality of instruction, and plans, implements, and carries out faculty training and development.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all aspects of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
  • Organize and administer the BSN program, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
  • Conduct continuous review and planning for the BSN program.
  • Develop and implement strategies for program improvement.
  • Teach in assigned areas of the BSN program.
  • Collaborate with faculty to enhance the quality of instruction.
  • Plan and implement faculty training and development programs.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree or higher.
  • Hold an unrestricted RN license to practice in Tennessee or in one of the eNLC compact states.
  • Experience teaching at the post-secondary level.
  • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in instructional methodology, curriculum design, and program planning.
