Responsibilities

• Perform receptionist duties at the nursing station.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient care areas.
• Provide minimal direct patient care as needed.
• Assist healthcare providers with administrative tasks.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience working in a healthcare setting.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with computer applications (e.g., WORD, EPIC, hospital-specific software applications) and telephone usage.

Nice-to-haves

• Successful completion of a nursing assistant training program or health unit coordinator program.
• Previous experience in patient care as a HUC and/or working with providers.
