About the position
Under direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides direct and indirect patient care. This position is designed for individuals currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing program and in good academic standing.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist with maintaining patient records and transcribing physician orders.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in good academic standing in an accredited school of nursing program.
- Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Nursing as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Completed at least one clinical rotation.
- Two instructor references are required with the application.
Nice-to-haves
- Healthcare Provider (CPR Certification) - not needed for Hospice student positions.
