About the position
The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for ensuring quality patient care through effective management of Patient Care Services during assigned shifts. This role includes making administrative decisions in the absence of the Administrator, utilizing knowledge of institutional standards, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain quality patient care during assigned shifts.
- Manage activities of Patient Care Services effectively.
- Make administrative decisions in the absence of the Administrator.
- Utilize knowledge of standards, policies, and procedures for decision-making.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in Maine.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Experience as a staff nurse.
- Clinical nursing supervisor experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to enhance communication and promote conflict resolution.
