About the position

The Nutritional Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all operations within the Nutritional Services Department. This role includes ensuring high standards of food preparation and service, providing direction to staff, and maintaining compliance with quality and sanitation guidelines. The supervisor plays a key role in managing daily operations and ensuring that all regulatory standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all areas of the Nutritional Services Department.
• Provide instruction in maintaining high standards of food preparation and service.
• Direct employees throughout the day to ensure quality and sanitation guidelines are met.
• Ensure required forms are completed daily as part of operational standards.
• Monitor compliance with all regulatory agency standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years previous management and supervisory experience with proven leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and secure cooperation of all employees.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Nice-to-haves

• A.A.S. in Food Service Management.
• Courses in food and nutrition, personnel management or supervisory training are desirable.
• Health care experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
