The Splenda® Manager of Nutrition and Science Communications will be responsible for developing healthcare-focused marketing and scientific communications, as well as key in-market tactical assets for the Splenda portfolio, particularly focusing on sweeteners and nutrition shakes. This role is crucial in maintaining the Splenda® Brand's position as the #1 Sweetener Brand recommended by doctors and dietitians, achieving market share leadership in the sweetener category, and growing the market share of our shakes. The manager will engage with key health-minded partners to benefit mutual consumers, ensuring that the Splenda brand, known for its iconic yellow packets, is recognized for its wide variety of sweetener forms and ingredients, including sucralose, stevia, and monk fruit. In this position, the manager will develop healthcare professional (HCP)-specific brand messaging, claims, and creative materials to drive awareness and recommendations for the Splenda brand among healthcare professionals and health partner associations. A strong emphasis will be placed on educating HCPs about the health benefits and scientific evidence supporting the efficacy and safety of zero-calorie sweeteners and shakes. This role will involve communication with various HCPs, including physicians, nurses, dietitians, and diabetes educators, across fields such as primary care and endocrinology. The manager will also identify long-term external health-minded partners and serve as the direct point of contact with existing partners, including the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Additionally, the manager will play a key role in educating food regulators like the FDA about the effectiveness and safety of Splenda products, influencing regulations and public policy to support healthier dietary choices. This position requires collaboration with various teams, including marketing, legal, and sales, both domestically and internationally, to achieve brand goals. The manager will demonstrate self-motivation, manage multiple projects, and possess expertise in healthcare marketing and communication practices to drive product adoption among consumers.
