The role also involves in-between meal food delivery. The individual will communicate any patient food issues, concerns, and needs to team members within the department and will interact with nursing employees regarding patient nutrition needs or requirements. It is essential to react accurately and effectively to all changes to ensure efficient timing of services and the accuracy of physician-ordered modified diets.
