About the position

NVIDIA is offering a 2025 Hardware Verification Internship that provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience with one of our industry-leading Hardware teams. This 12-week internship is designed for strategic, ambitious, hard-working, and creative individuals who are passionate about tackling challenges in accelerated computing. Interns will work on projects that have a measurable impact on our business, contributing to the transformative work we do in AI, digital twins, gaming, robotics, self-driving cars, healthcare, and more. Candidates for this internship should be currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Relevant coursework or internship experience in areas such as Formal Verification, GPU or processor Verification or Validation, Digital Systems, Digital Design, VLSI Design, or Real-Time Logic (RTL) Design is highly desirable. Additionally, experience in random functional testing, writing test plans, and diagnostics related to CPU Architecture, Computer Architecture, and Software Infrastructure for validation will be beneficial. The internship offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from 18 USD to 71 USD, determined by factors such as position, location, year in school, degree, and experience. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Course or internship experience in Formal Verification, GPU or processor Verification or Validation, Digital Systems, Digital Design, VLSI Design, or Real-Time Logic (RTL) Design.
  • Familiarity with random functional testing, writing test plans, and diagnostics related to CPU Architecture and Computer Architecture.
  • Programming skills in Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, UVM, Python, Perl, TCL, C, C++, and Linux.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with software infrastructure for validation of architecture.
  • Knowledge of digital design principles and practices.
