About the position
The Underage Purchaser role at Computer Evidence Specialists (CES) involves performing compliance checks on local tobacco retailers to ensure adherence to regulations prohibiting the sale of tobacco products to minors. This position is part-time and contract-based, requiring individuals aged 16 to 20 who can work non-confrontationally with inspectors to complete assigned inspections.
Responsibilities
- Complete a short online training course.
- Perform non-confrontational compliance checks on local tobacco retailers.
- Dress normally and use valid identification during inspections.
- Do not deceive the retailer in any way regarding age or purpose.
Requirements
- Must be aged 16 to 20 years old.
- Strong work ethic and sufficient free time to complete inspections.
- Ability to complete required forms including Parental Release, Medical Release, Underage Purchaser Agreement, Non-Disclosure Agreement, and Commitment to Protect Non-Public Information.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in compliance checks or similar roles.
