About the position
The position of Remote Spanish Interpreter at Kelly involves interpreting high volume inbound calls for various industries, including healthcare and government, while working from home. The role requires fluency in both Spanish and English, and offers a long-term contract with paid training and various benefits.
Responsibilities
- Handle telephone calls on demand in a quiet home office
- Translate Spanish/English conversations for a wide range of industries including Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Financial, Travel & Hospitality
- Interpret simple, complex, or technical conversations as needed
- Participate in video interpreting sessions with additional training
- Maintain a dedicated workspace and meet remote technical requirements
Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Ability to work a minimum of 27 hours a week
- Availability on Saturdays and Mondays preferred
- Manual dexterity to type or write notes
- Comfortable being on camera for video calls
Nice-to-haves
- Education or work experience in teaching or translation considered an asset
- Previous experience not required
