Voyatek, formerly GCOM Software and OnCore Consulting, is seeking a Senior Systems Architect to join our NYS Information Technology Services Team located in Albany, NY. This position is pivotal in delivering outcome-driven technology solutions to public sector agencies and higher education institutions across the nation. The Senior Systems Architect will be responsible for analyzing and designing functional specifications that adhere to IT standards and policies, as well as migrating data to appropriate repositories. This role requires active participation in requirement gathering and design discussions, ensuring effective communication with senior IT Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to elicit requirements accurately. The successful candidate will develop ETL processes for the migration of New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYS DMV) legacy data, working both independently and as part of a team. Compliance with data standards and policies is essential, as is the ability to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value. Additionally, the Senior Systems Architect will assist with Quality Assurance testing and create Data Mapping Documents from Source to Target, ensuring that all processes are well-documented and meet the required standards.
