About the position

The Senior Software Developer position at Voyatek focuses on delivering technology solutions to public sector agencies, particularly within the NYS Office of Cannabis Management. The role involves analyzing business rules, developing applications using Oracle Intelligent Advisor, and providing application support. The developer will work collaboratively with business analysts to ensure that the software meets the needs of the organization and its stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret business rules and workflows for application design.
• Work with business analysts to understand requirements and design, author, and develop business rules based on requirements using Oracle Intelligent Advisor.
• Debug and test Oracle Intelligent Advisor.
• Create new screens in Oracle Intelligent Advisor, including interview creation for new transactions.
• Develop new framework functionality for the NYBE Portal.
• Provide application support and be on call as required.
• Create documentation and share knowledge with team members.

Requirements

• 60 - 84 months of experience working independently and providing guidance to others.
• 80 months of experience integrating business rules and developing systems using Oracle Intelligent Advisor, including deployment, testing, automation hub, modeling, and debugging.
• 80 months of development experience with .NET; Java and J2EE or related programming experience.
• 80 months of experience working with business analysts to understand requirements.
• 80 months of web development experience with HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
• 60 months of development experience in Oracle Service Cloud, including RightNow Query Language, Custom Object Deployment, Workspace/Workflow Development, Agent Scripting, Custom Process Model, Business Rules, Add-ins, Widgets, and experience in a Multi-Site Environment.
• 80 months of experience using Oracle Intelligent Advisor for developing online transactions for the NYBE Portal.
