About the position

The Expert Systems Developer position at Voyatek involves executing the full software development life cycle (SDLC) to deliver technology solutions for public sector agencies. The role focuses on developing and maintaining applications using .Net and Java, with an emphasis on database management and application integration. The developer will also mentor other programmers and ensure the applications meet business requirements while adhering to accessibility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 or higher to write code using MVC Architecture, .Net, JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, XML, and WCF.
• Prepare scripts to create and modify existing Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc.
• Code stored procedures and packages, convert and migrate data when necessary.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports.
• Mentor and assist other programmers, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing, and deploying applications.

Requirements

• 84+ months of experience providing guidance to large teams and extensive industry experience in the field.
• 84 months of experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop/maintain applications in C# and/or ASP.NET for n-tier web deployment.
• 84 months of experience developing and maintaining web applications utilizing HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and CSS.
• 84 months of experience with Oracle database design, PL SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, and creating tables.
• 84 months of experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) application integration, including secure .Net web-services using WCF, SOAP/Restful APIs, and message processing.
• Experience in designing & implementing microservices.
• 84 months of experience developing applications that follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0.
• 36 months of experience in designing & implementing CI/CD workflows.
• 36 months of experience maintaining applications containing Health Care data under HIPAA PHI and HL7 Transformation.
