About the position

The O&A Governance & EMEA CAD lead position is a critical role within Deutsche Bank, focusing on the governance of key performance metrics in the Origination and Advisory (O&A) KYC teams. This role is essential for ensuring efficient client onboarding and maintaining high standards of client experience across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions. The position involves accountability for client account delivery, regulatory readiness, and the management of various KYC operations, while also providing support to senior management and stakeholders across different time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for global governance of key performance metrics in Origination and Advisory KYC teams.
  • Accountable for EMEA client account delivery key performance metrics related to Client Lifecycle Management (CLM).
  • Ensure regulatory readiness and responses are timely and effective.
  • Deliver business requirements proactively, including key projects and presentations to senior management on governance topics.
  • Review and implement policies and procedures, providing requirements to tech and change partners.
  • Oversee New Client Adoption, Periodic review, event-driven review (EDR), and Guarantors pipeline management.

Requirements

  • Detailed knowledge of KYC systems and their interconnections (CRDS, BAR, dbCLM, Downstream).
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data mapping skills (Pivot, V lookups, what-if analysis).
  • Experience working with offshore teams, particularly in India, for efficient due diligence and case management.
  • Strong understanding of KYC regulations and requirements, with the ability to simplify complex requirements.
  • Effective management of senior stakeholders, ensuring on-time and proactive delivery.

  • Experience in stakeholder management across different time zones, particularly in EMEA and US.
  • Ability to escalate risks and address KYC breaks promptly.
