About the position

The o9 Senior Solution Architect position at NTT DATA is a remote opportunity based in Atlanta, Georgia, aimed at candidates authorized to work in the United States. This role is part of the IDSP Supply Chain Consulting team, which focuses on delivering exceptional consulting and managed analytics services to supply chain leaders globally. The team is dedicated to helping enterprises maximize value from their supply chains through fact-based transformations. The position requires a deep understanding of the Integrated Demand and Supply Planning process, which is a cross-functional business process aimed at balancing demand and supply profitably by maintaining a single integrated sales and operations plan. The role involves working closely with clients to design and implement effective demand and supply planning processes, overlay enabling technology, and ultimately enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their supply chains. As a Senior Solution Architect, you will be responsible for the overall solution design for o9 implementation engagements. This includes leading the requirement gathering process, translating business and technical requirements into solution design documentation, and developing test case procedures. You will collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders to prioritize work, identify and resolve issues, and maintain detailed project delivery plans in accordance with client statements of work (SOW). Additionally, you will provide architectural guidance and quality assurance to the configuration team, ensuring that all model builders and configuration leads are aligned with best practices. The role also involves generating knowledge capital by developing methodologies and best practices, as well as creating thought leadership materials that enhance NTT DATA Supply Chain Consulting's brand. You will support software assessment analysis and assist in business development by creating proposals for technology and process implementation projects. Presenting the o9 solution through client-facing demonstrations tailored to specific use cases is also a key aspect of this position. Mentorship of junior consultants and model builders is expected, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall solution design for o9 implementation engagements.
• Lead the requirement gathering process and translate business and technical requirements to solution design documentation and test case procedures.
• Work closely with Project Managers, internal and client stakeholders to support work prioritization, issue identification and resolution, and project delivery plans.
• Provide architectural guidance, technical direction, and quality assurance to model builders and configuration leads in o9 implementation projects.
• Support the ongoing development of methodologies and best practices, and create thought leadership materials.
• Assist in software assessment analysis and support Business Development with proposals for technology and process implementation projects.
• Present the o9 solution through client-facing demonstrations that address client-specific use cases.
• Provide mentorship to o9 model builders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or college equivalent in industrial engineering, information systems, supply chain management, science, technology, math, business, economics, or related major.
• 2+ years of experience as a Solution Architect in o9 or similar platforms on implementation projects.
• 6+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or inventory management.
• 4+ years of experience working with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Significant project experience involving solution design and implementation using o9 Solutions.
• Demonstrated expertise in demand planning, supply planning, capacity planning, and S&OP/Integrated Business Planning processes.
• Solid project management skills demonstrated across multiple industries.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• 4+ years certified as an o9 Enterprise Modeler.
• 4+ years of experience in o9 implementation projects.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• Certifications in o9 Reference Products and Supply Chain Solver.
• Expertise in IBPL, R/Python, and SQL programming languages.
