About the position

The CDL Driver (Class B) position at Oak Farms Dallas involves operating a Straight Truck to deliver various dairy products to customer locations on a scheduled route. Responsibilities

• Drive a Straight Truck to customer accounts, performing merchandising and delivering products.
• Deliver products in an efficient, timely, courteous, and accurate manner.
• Promote the addition and sales of new products.
• Ensure sufficient route inventory levels to meet customer demands while adhering to inventory control and distribution procedures.
• Maintain proper handheld records for all accounts.
• Load or unload cases of product manually using hooks, handcarts, or pallet jacks.
• Transport products across state lines or haul products originating in other states for intrastate deliveries.
• Comply with all Department of Transportation regulations as per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations handbook.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 6 months driving experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Physical ability to balance-pull products and climb in and out of the truck.
• Ability to lift and/or move 100 lbs. or more multiple times throughout the day.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Possession and maintenance of a valid CDL Class B (or A) with Air Brake endorsement.
• Ability to pass all pre-employment screens including drug, background, and criminal checks.
