About the position
The Oasis HCHB RN Home Health position in Garden City, NY is a full-time contract role requiring experienced registered nurses to provide home health care services. Responsibilities
- Assess and chart observations of the patient's condition at each visit.
- Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs.
- Administer physician-prescribed medication.
- Dress or redress wounds and assess the healing progress.
- Keep the patient comfortable through palliative care.
- Provide education to patients and families on proper home health care procedures and strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ years nursing experience required.
- Active RN License.
- Active BLS through AHA.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- At least 6 months of recent Oasis and HCHB experience.
