About the position

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OBGYN to join our hospital group in a vibrant, artsy town in southeastern Kentucky. This position offers a supportive environment with a focus on work/life balance, allowing the incoming physician to thrive in a low-stress atmosphere while providing quality care. The role includes a full suite of procedures and the opportunity to work with a dedicated team, including Nurse Midwives and Nurse Practitioners, in a community-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecological care to patients.
• Perform deliveries and manage prenatal and postnatal care.
• Utilize a full suite of procedures, including the use of a DaVinci robot.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including Nurse Midwives and Nurse Practitioners.
• Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Ability to perform deliveries of babies at 35 weeks and later.
• Experience with a full suite of OBGYN procedures.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with DaVinci robotic surgery.
