Recognized as one of the nation's Best Maternity Hospitals, the newly expanded Center for Women's & Children's Health offers a transformative new model of care for women and babies. It includes a state-of-the-art NICU with private rooms that allow families to stay overnight, a unique feature known as “couplet care.” The facility boasts new and expanded labor and delivery suites, an expanded OB/GYN emergency services area, and a new labor lounge. Additionally, there is a spacious, multi-level Ronald McDonald Room to support families with infants in intensive care. ChristianaCare is recognized for its high volume of obstetrical and gynecologic patients, performing over 6,000 deliveries a year and consistently ranking among the top centers for gynecologic care and surgery. ChristianaCare is led by President/CEO Dr. Janice Nevin, who was named among the 50 Most Influential Clinical Executives in 2023 by Modern Healthcare. The organization has also been recognized by Forbes as one of the Best Employers for Diversity & Inclusion in the U.S. for 2023 and has achieved the Healthgrades America's 50 Best Hospitals Award in 2023. The compensation and benefits package includes a base salary, annual bonus incentives, loan repayment eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), and a sign-on bonus, along with comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits. The generous Time Away from Practice (TAP) program allows for CME, planned, and unplanned time off, alongside retirement plans and fully paid malpractice insurance. Additionally, the position offers 12 weeks of paid parental leave.
