About the position
Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology MD for a locum tenens position in Sylva, North Carolina. This role involves providing care in an OB clinic, managing deliveries, and performing basic office procedures. The position offers competitive compensation and support for credentialing, licensing, travel, and housing.
Responsibilities
- Provide obstetric and gynecological care in a clinic setting.
- Manage deliveries and perform C-sections as needed.
- Conduct basic office procedures related to obstetrics and gynecology.
- Handle call coverage for the OB clinic and pager calls.
- See approximately 15 patients per day in the clinic and manage around 25 deliveries per month.
Requirements
- Must have an active state license in North Carolina.
- Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
- Credentialing is needed prior to starting the assignment.
- DEA certification is required.
