OCC Admission Associate - Hourly

About the position

The Admissions Associate at Interactive College of Technology (ICT) is responsible for enrolling students at the Newport campus by providing excellent customer service and guiding potential students through the admissions process. This role involves managing leads, conducting campus tours, and acting as a liaison between students and various departments, ensuring that students receive the necessary information to make informed enrollment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage leads through follow-up calls, emails, mailings, texting, and other means to maximize enrollment opportunities.
• Arrange campus visits and conduct campus tours for prospective students.
• Act as the initial campus liaison between students and other departments including Financial Aid, Placement, and Academic Advisors.
• Conduct student interviews according to policy, administer entrance and placement testing, and advise students regarding academic requirements.
• Develop effective strategies for achieving enrollment success.
• Complete enrollment files including test results, admissions documentation, and any required pre-enrollment conferences with the Academic Advisor.
• Develop leads through referrals and community outreach; interact with members of the target community for lead generation and institution branding.
• Compile weekly performance-based sales reports.
• Represent the institution to individuals inquiring or interested in enrolling in the academic programs offered at ICT.

Requirements

• Prior successful inside sales experience.
• Willing and able to accommodate a flexible schedule and hours.
• Able to exercise independent thinking on how to best serve each prospective student.
• Strong communication skills to interact with a broad range of individuals, businesses, and community resources.
• Goal-driven and capable of working independently.
