The coordinator will be responsible for developing timelines, milestones, and materials necessary for the successful execution of these projects. Additionally, the coordinator will support the OH AVP in systemwide tasks aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of departmental operations and transformation initiatives. In this position, the coordinator will oversee and contribute to process improvement projects, ensuring that all projects remain organized and conform to established timelines and deliverable requirements. The role requires the creation and management of project plans for multiple concurrent Occupational Health projects, with a focus on maintaining scope, schedule, and budget. The coordinator will analyze project progress and adapt the scope or timeline as necessary to achieve desired goals and results. Regular follow-ups with assigned associates on deliverables will be essential to keep projects on track. The coordinator will also liaise with the OH team to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with both departmental and organizational goals. This includes assisting in systemizing OH processes across the health system and collaborating with the OH team to oversee improvements to various OH programs, such as tuberculosis screening, respiratory protection, influenza vaccination campaigns, and other vaccination programs, as well as the prevention of bloodborne pathogens. The role will involve assisting with the development or updating of OH resources, including policies, standard operating procedures, and job aids. Moreover, the coordinator will assist with the implementation and management of special projects, prepare reports, status updates, and files as needed, and coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, and handouts. The position may also require providing occasional administrative coverage in Occupational Health clinics and at system compliance events, as well as assisting with data review, reporting, and analysis related to OH injuries and compliance measures. Excellent service in all communications is a key expectation of this role.
