About the position
The Occupational Medicine Physician position at West Virginia University School of Medicine Eastern Division involves practicing in Berkeley County, WV, with a focus on providing excellent patient care in Occupational Medicine. The role also includes teaching responsibilities for medical students, residents, and fellows, and offers the opportunity to develop a new Occupational Medicine Service in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Practice in the areas of Occupational Medicine.
- Provide excellent patient care.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Evaluate, assess, and treat patient/client needs.
- Conduct pre-employment screens, drug screens, WC, IME, and Fit-for-Duty evaluations.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
- State medical license and DEA registration required by start date.
- Completion of Occupational Medicine residency program.
- Board certified/eligible in Occupational Medicine.
