About the position

Physiotherapy Associates is seeking a full-time Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide high-quality hand therapy services for various upper extremity disorders. The role involves evaluating patients, creating treatment plans, and ensuring effective communication throughout the therapy process. The CHT will collaborate with a regional hand therapy coordinator and participate in a nationally supported mentorship program, offering opportunities for professional development and research activities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans for hand therapy.
• Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs for patients.
• Maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients to enhance client relations.
• Stay current with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school for Occupational or Physical Therapy.
• Hold specialty certification or licensure in Hand Therapy.
• National registration and state licensure or registration required.
• Previous demonstrated marketing experience is a must.
• Solid experience in custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic is required.
• Hand and splinting experience is mandatory.
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is required.
• Valid state driver's license.
