About the position

Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations and provide treatment programs to facilitate patient-specific goals.
- Assess the patient's response to treatment and recommend treatment plan changes as appropriate.
- Maintain patient records according to documentation standards, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure treatment protocols contribute to overall hospital quality and safety targets.
- Adapt behavior to the specific patient population, respecting privacy and communication styles.
- Remain knowledgeable on current laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory agency requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy.
- Current occupational therapy license in state of practice or eligibility for licensure by examination or reciprocity from another state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
