About the position

The Occupational Therapist (OT) at Select Medical Rehabilitation Hospital in Oklahoma City is responsible for providing advanced treatment and comprehensive care to patients facing medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges. This role involves evaluating patients, developing and modifying treatment plans, and ensuring effective rehabilitation programs to facilitate a return to community activities. The OT will also serve as an educator for patients, families, and colleagues, contributing to a team-oriented environment focused on exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to patient needs and physician direction.
• Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
• Design functional treatment programs to facilitate effective community reintegration.
• Educate patients, families, students, and co-workers on therapy practices and patient care.
• Perform other professional duties related to patient care and therapy service development.

Requirements

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required.
• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment is required.
