About the position
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our EMPLOYEE-OWNED TEAM in the area of Tomah WI! As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients restore and maintain maximum function and prevent disability using a range of therapeutic modalities specific to upper extremity function, sensory and perceptual skills, coordination and self-care skills including, light hygiene, bathing, dressing, transfers, eating, and homemaking. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer a prescribed OT program to restore and maintain maximum function and prevent disability.
- Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities specific to upper extremity function, sensory and perceptual skills, coordination and self-care skills.
- Help patients achieve critical outcomes while acting as a trusted partner to the community.
Requirements
- Be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapists.
- Hold a valid or pending (for newer graduates) state license.
- Experience in acute care, long-term care and/or rehabilitation is preferred but not always required.
