About the position
The Occupational Therapist at Providence Medical Group Southeast Washington is responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to a designated group of patients. This role operates under the supervision of the rehabilitation leadership team and the department director, ensuring adherence to established hospital and departmental policies. The position emphasizes patient-focused care and the importance of empowering caregivers to deliver exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatments to patients/clients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Maintain compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation leadership team and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Washington Occupational Therapist License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
Nice-to-haves
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy or Ph.D. in Occupational Therapy.
- 1 year of specialized occupational therapy training or experience.
