About the position

We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a travel contract position at a skilled nursing facility. This role involves helping patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for everyday life. The position offers 13-week assignments in various locations, providing an opportunity for travel and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility.
• Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' daily living skills.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board.
• Up-to-date state and contract-required competency tests and credentials.
• Current hands-on CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting.
• Previous travel therapy experience.
