The Occupational Therapist is a rehabilitation professional responsible for evaluating, treating, and preventing disabilities, injuries, and diseases to maximize functional independence in clients. This role involves developing and implementing treatment programs based on physician referrals, conducting functional evaluations, and collaborating with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal physical, cognitive, and mental functioning.
