About the position
The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) position at Symbria involves working closely with Occupational Therapists to develop and implement treatment plans for older adults. This role is integral to the interdisciplinary team, focusing on achieving critical patient outcomes while maintaining productivity standards and documentation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Occupational Therapist to establish appropriate goals and execute treatment plans.
- Maintain productivity standards and complete required documentation.
- Help patients achieve critical outcomes as a trusted partner in the community.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
- Hold a valid or pending state license.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in acute care, long-term care, and/or rehabilitation is preferred but not required.
