About the position
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position at NHC Glasgow is a PRN role within an in-house therapy team focused on delivering quality care to patients. Responsibilities
- Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Provide direct patient care and support during therapy sessions.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the therapy team.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care discussions.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Kentucky OTA license.
- Graduate of an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
- Initial certification or eligibility for certification by the NCBOT.
- Must be flexible, a team player, and possess a positive attitude.
- Reliable transportation is required.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting.
- Experience with Matrix therapy.
