About the position

Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is a fast-growing, clinician-owned company dedicated to providing exceptional home healthcare. We are currently seeking an energetic Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our amazing team of clinicians serving the Winchester residential area of Massachusetts. This Per Diem position offers a competitive rate of $37-$40 per visit. At VRNS, we believe in the importance of growing your career while positively impacting the lives of our patients. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for providing occupational therapy treatments to individuals in their homes. You will monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary under the supervision of a Registered Therapist. Educating patients and their families on how to perform exercises and activities is a crucial part of your role, as is maintaining accurate patient records and documenting treatments. Responsibilities

  • Providing occupational therapy treatments to individuals in their homes
  • Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary under the supervision of a Registered Therapist

  • Maintaining patient records and documenting treatments

Requirements

  • Home healthcare experience is recommended, but not required
  • Candidates must have MA Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team while working with a variety of patients and medical professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks, use a computer, including electronic medical records (EMR) systems
