Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy and related services for patients under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Maintain positive levels of interaction with facilities and clients in accordance with occupational therapy principles.
• Provide ongoing treatment per a plan of care and supervise Rehab Techs where required.
• Manage cases and maintain professional conduct that represents Reliant Rehabilitation's commitment to quality and service.
• Optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist.
• Enhance clinical expertise and professional skills through interaction with managers and other professionals, as well as continuing education activities.
• Maintain valid state license and stay aware of issues related to occupational therapy and the healthcare environment.
• Understand relevant payment models related to billing and treatment guidelines.
• Comply with infection control procedures and environmental safety protocols.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ACOTE accredited school of occupational therapy.
• Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant state license.
• Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation.
• Basic Internet navigation skills.
