About the position

We are looking for an experienced Ocean Freight Operations Specialist to manage and streamline our ocean import processes. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward logistics operations. If you have experience in freight operations, customs clearance, and can work effectively in a team, we encourage you to apply. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating with overseas agents to initiate and manage ocean import processes. You will facilitate the clearance of imported goods through customs brokerage, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Additionally, you will manage the consolidation or deconsolidation of goods as needed, which is crucial for optimizing shipping efficiency. You will also be tasked with researching, selecting, and arranging ground transportation with reliable vendors and agents to ensure timely deliveries. Monitoring delivery status and relaying updates to relevant stakeholders will be a key part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will handle accounts payable and receivable, closing processes, and other accounting-related tasks. Data entry and reporting will also be part of your duties, as you will input service information into the internal system and prepare activity reports for department managers. Customer support and troubleshooting will be essential, as you will respond to and resolve customer inquiries effectively. Lastly, you may assist with other ad-hoc projects as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries effectively.
  • Assist with other projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Must be fluent in Korean.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
