About The Position
SAIC is seeking a talented Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team responsible for the design, implementation, and management of Oracle Cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in implementing best practices to operate and maintain resilient and secure Oracle Cloud environments, enabling development teams to deliver features efficiently. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work location. Candidates must possess an Interim Secret Clearance to start and must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance as part of the role. In this role, the Senior DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for operating and maintaining cloud environments utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles. The engineer will also focus on the maintenance and ongoing development of automation and continuous integration/deployment infrastructure across multiple environments, including writing, building, and deploying scripts. A key aspect of the position involves enabling observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments, ensuring that security and compliance standards are met across all Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) deployments. The engineer will continuously assess, onboard, and enable new FedRAMP cloud services, applying security best practices for Identity and Access Management (IAM) and networking. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to define and implement cloud architecture best practices, ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront of cloud technology and security.
