About the position

The OCI G2S Product Manager Intern will support a team of Product Managers in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Global Government Sector. This role involves contributing to the conception, design, launch, and go-to-market strategies for government-focused cloud products, while gaining insights into the needs of US government customers. The intern will work in a dynamic and flexible environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product adoption and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Support a team of Product Managers in the conception, design, launch, and go-to-market of government-focused cloud products.
• Gain an understanding of US government customers, market, and competition to drive product adoption.
• Assist in product definition from vision to roadmap and detailed product requirements.
• Influence engineering teams to invest in features required by the government market.
• Run effective pilot programs and collect continuous customer feedback.
• Create field enablement materials such as blogs and presentations to explain OCI services integration.
• Partner with sales and marketing to deliver high-quality product collateral and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Launch new services/features by collaborating with marketing and sales organizations.

Requirements

• US Veteran transitioning from active service or Military Spouse new to corporate experience preferred.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience building value propositions, messaging, and guidance for customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, end-users, partners, and senior leaders.
• Understanding of cloud platform technologies and their real-world applications is desired.
• Experience as a product manager or in a technical leadership role with a cloud platform technology provider is preferred.
