About the position

The position is part of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Global Government Sector team, focusing on building next-generation cloud platforms tailored for US government customers. The role involves supporting product managers in the conception, design, launch, and go-to-market strategies for government-focused cloud products, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will work in a dynamic and flexible environment, contributing to product definition and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Support a team of Product Managers in the conception, design, launch, and go-to-market of government-focused cloud products.
  • Gain an understanding of US government customers, market, and competition to drive product adoption.
  • Support product definition from vision to roadmap and detailed product requirements.
  • Influence engineering teams to invest and iterate on features required by the government market.
  • Run effective pilot programs and collect continuous customer feedback.
  • Create field enablement materials to explain how to integrate OCI services into customer architectures.
  • Partner with sales and marketing to deliver high-quality product collateral and ensure customer satisfaction with cloud products.
  • Launch new services/features by collaborating with marketing and sales organizations.

Requirements

  • US Veteran transitioning from active service or Military Spouse new to corporate experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience building value propositions, messaging, and guidance for customers, users, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with and communicate internally and with customers at all levels, including engineers, end-users, partners, and senior leaders.
  • Understanding of cloud platform technologies and their application to real-world problems is desired.
  • Experience as a product manager or in a technical leadership role with a cloud platform technology provider is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in government-focused cloud products.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance requirements such as FedRAMP High, DoD IL2/4/5/6, and ICD 503.
