About the position
The OCIO Strategic Support Analyst at Serco North America plays a crucial role in supporting the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JPO) by providing program management support throughout the acquisition lifecycle. This position focuses on enhancing the information technology infrastructure for the F-35 fleet, ensuring data centralization, cloud transformation, and software development modernization to improve operational efficiency and mission effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Assist OCIO in centralizing JPO data in a Master Data Management (MDM) platform.
- Support application development and inject innovation into the organization's environment.
- Enhance data quality and decision-making across the JPO.
- Increase aircraft availability and reduce lifecycle costs.
- Assist in providing cloud-based hosting of IT services and shifting business IT services into the cloud.
- Oversee software architecture alignment and establish a Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) environment.
- Support JPO classified operations with a newer and less complex environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an associate degree plus four additional years of experience (ten years total).
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
- Experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline with at least four years of professional experience related to analysis and planning.
- Demonstrated knowledge of DoD Instruction (DoDI) 5000.2 and military acquisition programs.
- Strong analytical skills to define, collect, and analyze data.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working in a Systems Program Office.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
