About the position
The MRI/CT Technician at OCOM is responsible for performing high-quality imaging, CT scans, and X-rays while ensuring optimal patient care. This role emphasizes patient interaction, equipment setup, and adherence to quality standards in a professional environment. The technician will work Monday to Friday, contributing to a team dedicated to providing excellent service to patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Interview and prepare patients for diagnostic exams.
- Set up equipment and prepare the exam to be performed.
- Position and set up patients for the exam being performed.
- Administer contrast, if necessary, and inform patients about the contrast agent used.
- Maintain accurate documentation of the use of intra-office medications and emergency treatment supplies.
- Provide a comfortable and professional atmosphere for all patients.
- Ensure proper completion of paperwork.
- Perform quality control and quality assurance to adhere to the American College of Radiology Standards.
- Perform any other tasks as requested.
Requirements
- Current OK ARRT license.
- BCLS certification, if not current, must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Minimum 1 year previous imaging experience.
